DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?

Yes. I ask that you inform me of any cancellations with at least 24-hour notice. I take into consideration emergencies, but reserve the right to charge full price for any session cancelled with under a 24-hour notice.

Please contact your therapist via text or email if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

You're also able to cancel and reschedule appointments thru the client portal.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

Yes, I am licensed and in-network with a variety of insurance companies in New York and Florida. To see them, click here:

I also accept clients who are residents of New York or Florida who's insurance I am not in-network with, or who would rather not use their insurance. For details on pricing, click here:

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST AND HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?

I encourage my clients to utilize their insurance, if possible, to help keep the cost of therapy reasonable and attainable. I work with a company called Alma that assists me in verifying your coverage, as well as if you have any deductible to meet. They ensure that you are utilizing all of your benefits as well.

If you would rather not use (or are unable to use) insurance, I have a set fee of $200 per session.  I offer sliding-scale pricing in certain circumstances. I am passionate about maintaining pricing that is reasonable for most people.

I accept all major debit/credit cards. Payments are processed securely through Alma.

HOW OFTEN/FOR HOW LONG DO I COME TO THERAPY?

This depends entirely on the plan that you and I as your therapist create.

Once weekly sessions, lasting 1 hour, are what is typical for most clients.

Some clients drop down to bi-weekly or once monthly sessions as improvements are made, or clients move to a maintenance plan with their therapist.

IS EVERYTHING KEPT BETWEEN US?

Licensed Therapists have a strict legal and ethical responsibility to maintain confidentiality. This means we do not share any of your personal information or what we discuss in session.

There are a few exceptions where the therapist is legally required to break confidentiality. This only applies if there is a real threat or concrete plan for suicidal or homicidal action,  or instances of elder or child abuse.
